Special Events in Daejeon:Festival: Grand Festival 2008

The Daejeon Arts & Culture Centre is proud to announce the launching of its Grand Festival for 2008. Held every year, the festival aims to bring to Daejejon over a period of 10 days some of the best artists in the world. Amon the artists that will be performing as part of the festval this year will be:

- the Arco Diablo Chamber Orchestra

- Quartet 21

- the Hagen Quartet

- Ensemble TIMF

- Hilary Hahn

- the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra

- Kang Choong-Mo

- the Daejeon Phiharmonic Orchestra

It will also feature a performance of Puccini's opera Tosca under the baton of the conductor of the Daejeon Philharmonic Orchestra and with the participation of the internationally renowned singers:

- Ines Salazar

- Viktor Afanasenko

- Michele Kalmandi
