The 6th World Technopolis Association General Assembly will be held in Daejeon Metropolitan City, from 9th to 11th October 2008 along with the commemoration ceremony for celebrating the 10th anniversary of WTA. It plans to be a platform for local governments, universities and industry to define their respective roles in shaping the creative city through various programs including the WTA International Conference, Mayor’s Forum and University Presidents Forum. Also held in connection with the General Assembly is the 2008 UNESCO-WTA International Training Workshop co-hosted by UNECO and WTA to promote and support technological development in developing nations. It aims to give participants a global opportunity to network with a group of leaders from local governments, international organizations and industry from all over the world.
